A Controversial Novel with a Surprise Ending

The Sinking of Noah's Ark
By TrysDan Roberts
Paperback: 120 pages
Publisher: VirtualBookworm.com Publishing Inc.(September 2002)
ISBN: 1589392191

The Sinking of Noah’s Ark is at the top of my "must read" list. It examines such controversial aspects as theology, evolution, philosophy, anthropology, and spirituality.

Noah is a young man who in the end is forced to examine how he has lived his life. Although he comes from a loving family, Noah has his mind set not to be like them. His father was in Vietnam, his mother is very religious and his brother Aiden, well it’s his brother. One day Noah ignores his brother and Aiden dies on that day. Noah can no longer deal with his parents and wants to leave, get away and that is the driving force behind his actions to succeed.

While attending college his father dies in a boating accident and on his way back home, Noah has an accident that will forever change his life.

When awakes from the accident he’s in another place, a courtroom, where he has to re-examine his beliefs. He is reunited with his brother and is forced to examine the way he has lived his life. Noah is forced by the prosecution to provide justification as to why human existence should continue.

This is a very thought provoking book that I would recommend to anyone. In order to get the full experience of this book, you must be able to allow yourself to think outside the box. This is not a conventional book and is not for the conventional person. If you are looking for a book that will make you think while you read this is the one!
