About the Author
Bettye Johnson is an international award-winning author. Her book Secrets of the Magdalene Scrolls is an Independent Publishers Book Award winner 2006. This book is published in Italy and in Germany. Johnson's sequel, Mary Magdalene, Her Legacy, 1st Edition is an Independent Publishers Book Awards winner 2008. The 2nd Revised Edition of Mary Magdalene, Her Legacy has just been released by Living Free Press. Johnson's background is a woven tapestry of experiences, which includes working for the Foreign Service branch of the U.S. State Department with posts to the embassies in Paris and Tokyo. In addition, she has been a Federal Women's Program Coordinator for a government district office and conducted workshops on women's issues. Johnson has also conducted workshops and seminars as a program director of a holistic health center in California and as a minister. She is a retired ordained minister trained in the ministry of Divine Science. Johnson is a native of Texas and after leaving Texas Women's University began her most uncommon education. Her other books are A Christmas Awakening and Awakening the Genie Within.
