Book Description
Killer Cain is 344 page thriller set in Los Angeles. The story focuses on
John Cain, an ATF agent who has been in the business for a very long time
and has committed questionable acts- one of which still haunts him and has
earned him the nickname, "Killer." Having just turned forty and seeing his
life as half wasted, he is now looking to get out and "start fresh," as he
puts it. His partner, a young, feisty, Afro-American woman named Jo,
convinces him to stick around for one more case. But, it turns out to be
the mother of all cases, involving a racist billionaire who's secretly
building an army of white supremacists and a vengeful gun dealer who holds
Cain responsible for his brother's death. Plus, he blames him for turning
his girlfriend against him. One man seeks revenge and the other-
redemption- in what becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse.
From the Author
I received a bachelor's degree in professional writing in
1992 and have been writing ever since- short stories and poetry mostly (none
published). This is my first novel. It took me a few years to write it;
but, that's because I've got a full-time job in the construction business,
working six days a week. I'm glad I stuck with it; and, I'm really excited
to see what happens next.
