About the Author

Wendell J. Wagner, using the pen name Theresa May Evie, has put forth a powerfully written narrative of the human spirit. He was a young man of 19, having been raised in a large Catholic family & seemingly at odds with his own sheltered world, when he began a stint as a Marine in the Vietnam War. What he experienced as a soldier during that tour of duty was difficult enough , but then what he went through for the next 30 years trying to cope with those same experiences led him to a spiritual exploration of the journey of life. He is very active in AA, both as a mentor and an inspirational speaker. Also, his powerful anti-war message is especially pertinent in today's world.
