This is the story of a young man who, in 1970, had a desire to travel and see the world. This Nine-year journey allowed him to experience adventures in areas like Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan where travel is no longer possible. After three overland trips from Europe to India he and his future wife, whom he met in India, went on through South East Asia and down to Australia where they homesteaded, and where their two daughters were born. The family returned to the US in 1979 and after thirty years of telling about the wild adventures the author finally decided to put them in a book. Living Beneath the Radar is a fun filled and humorous account of those adventures.
