Book Description
Once Upon a Blue Moon introduces children to the legend of Freddy, a magical
creature that has healing and transformative powers. It begins as a fairy
tale and ends as a mystery. Told from the point of view of fictional author,
RJ Muddson, the first part of the story is told in rhyme and harkens back to
ancient oral traditions of storytelling. The story concludes with an
epilogue by Muddson that recounts his personal encounter with Freddy opening
up the possibility that Freddy is more than just a fairy tale creature. The
epilogue teases the reader with a business card from Rufus Merriwether
Crain. Mr. Crain was the gentleman who first introduced Muddson to the
legend of Freddy (explained in the epilogue). The card includes Crain's
email address and encourages the reader to email him with any questions they
may have about Freddy.
