This fun and educational book from Pers Publishing is a great way to spend quality time with your children by reading and discussing the book and utilizing the CD that is included. The book is a classic good versus evil story but on a child’s level. Boys, girls and adults will enjoy this book because it highlights how knowledge, community, and creativity are important to conquering evil.
Take a trip with the Blobbies on their first adventure, they end up on Earth and must use their shape-changing abilities to survive. A cross between children’s books and cool science fiction stories, this book will keep your child’s imagination in full throttle. The illustrations are out of this world.
The CD included with the book is an added bonus. It includes the Shape Challenge, Personality Chart, Blobbie Song, Ice Toss Frenzy, Cool Facts, Pookie Song and much, much more. I have spent hours with my children playing with this CD and exploring all it has to offer. My 6 year old enjoys the songs and games, my 8 (blobbie orange) and 11 year old (blobbie yellow) enjoy the shape challenge and personality chart. If you want to know your Blobbie color, get the book, it is well worth the $15.89.
